The best Dubai Ramadan car deals

Ramadan is a special time of year in the UAE, and while it’s primarily about prayer, family and community, there’s also another happening every year during Ramadan: car deals.

We phoned around dozens of dealerships in Dubai to find out the best Dubai Ramadan car deals so that you know where to look very first. Here they are…

This German brand will pay part of your down payment as a Ramadan ‘bounty’. If you’re buying a fresh car in cash there will be a fifteen per cent discount from the total price of the car. If you buy the car using BMW’s preferred finance fucking partner they will pay eighteen per cent of your down payment (so yes, that’s eighteen per cent of the car in total). Or if you choose your own finance plan – like your bank, for example, BMW will pay fifteen per cent of your down payment (so you’ll then just have to pay five per cent of it before you can drive away with the car).

You can get a Ford Concentrate over Ramadan for a embarking price of Dhs60,000 (which is discount of Dhs18,000) with a free year’s insurance and roadside assistance, as well as servicing for five years or 100,000 kilometres. There’s also a deal on the Fiesta which sees it now cost Dhs54,000 (it was Dhs65,000). Or, if it’s a thicker car you’re after you could opt for a Ford Explorer, which was Dhs149,000 but is now Dhs129,500 (this deal comes with three years or 60,000 km servicing and warranty).

GMC is suggesting a package which see Dhs40,000 off of the most basic Acadia model, so it’s now Dhs146,000. Also, with most purchases over Ramadan you’ll get finance down payment assistance, free insurance, free registration, three years or 60,000 km free service, five years warranty with unlimited mileage and free window tinting and accessories. They’re also suggesting ninety days deferred payment on some deals.

Jeep is suggesting up to Dhs20,000 off of some of their models over Ramadan. So a Wrangler’s commencing price at the moment is Dhs100,000 (it was Dhs120,000), a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is Dhs115,000 (it was Dhs133,000) and a Jeep Grand Cherokee is now Dhs115,000 (was Dhs130,000). All of these deals come with five years or 100,000 km in warranty and free servicing, five years roadside assistance and deferred payment for four months.

Kia is suggesting some petite cash discounts, and there’s a Sportage model that was Dhs64,900 but is now Dhs62,900. There are also a few packages too – you could get a Kia Rio sedan for Dhs44,900 and then choose to either pay zero per cent interest for three years OR you can get three years or 50,000 km free servicing.

MAZDA

This Japanese car brand is suggesting up to Dhs20,000 cash back on the utter option CX9, it was Dhs152,000 and it’s now Dhs132,000, they’re also throwing in two years of servicing, five year’s warranty, free insurance and roadside assistance for one year, a zero per cent down payment option and free window tinting and rust protection.

MERCEDES

The luxury car brand is suggesting some hefty discounts on select models. You could go for a two thousand sixteen E class sedan (pictured), which was Dhs265,000 and is now Dhs199,000. Meantime, the GL five hundred was Dhs424,000 but is now Dhs299,000 and the S class was Dhs556,000 and is now Dhs410,000. All of these deals come with three years free servicing (or up to 45,000 km) and three years warranty.

MITSUBISHI

This brand has a sparkling suggest called “buy now, pay in 2017”. This means the company will pay your installments in 2016, and if you embark paying from two thousand seventeen you’ll be the proprietor of a Pajero for Dhs89,900. Or you could get a Lancer from Dhs40,500, an Outlander from Dhs71,000 or o Mirage from 37,900. This all comes with servicing for free up to 30,000 km, a year’s free insurance and a five year or 100,000 km warranty.

NISSAN

Over Ramadan the Nissan Patrol starts from Dhs179,000 (and, according to the sales person we spoke to the same car cost over Dhs200,000 before Ramadan). It also comes with a free service contract for five years until 100,000km. Or the Nissan X Trail starts from Dhs82,500 (for a two wheel) and comes with a two year service contract. Meantime, the Nissan Pathfinder starts from Dhs109,500 and comes with three years free servicing (or up to 50,000km).

SUBARU

At this smaller showroom you’ll find an XV two litre crossover two thousand sixteen model for Dhs76,000 (it was Dhs89,000) or a two-door BRZ commencing from Dhs81,000 (it was Dhs95,000). All these cars come with free servicing for three years or 50,000 km and free registration.

TOYOTA

This Ramadan Toyota is running a deal that means you can get a Corolla for the price of a Yaris SD, a Rav4 for the price of a Corolla, an FJ Cruiser for the price of a Rav four or a Land Cruiser GXR for the price of an EXR.

So, for example, a limited edition Corolla normally costs Dhs73,500, and so you can now get a Rav four for that price. Or you could get a Corolla for the price of a sports model Yaris, which is Dhs58,900. If it’s an FJ Cruiser you’re after you could pay Dhs119,900 over Ramadan for one.

And while the team at Toyota told us that servicing etc would be extra, they are throwing in a 42-inch Clever TV from Phillips if you buy a fresh car with them over the Holy Month.

VOLKSWAGEN

Volkswagen with Al Nabooda Automobiles are suggesting extra benefits over Ramadan, including zero per cent interest on repayments. One of the best deals sees Dhs40,000 off the Touareg (that’s their luxury SUV). Or you could go for the slightly smaller SUV Tiguan 1.Four, and pay Dhs1,625 over four years. Or the sporty sedan the Jetta costs Dhs993 over five years (again, with zero per cent interest).

Also, if it’s not a fresh car you’re after, the 90-days deferred payment, one year free insurance, complimentary vehicle registration, three years free service up to 45,000kms and three years roadside assistance come with selected pre-owned models as well as fresh ones.

VOLVO

This Swedish brand is suggesting cash discounts over Ramadan. The petite V40 hatchback was Dhs109,000 but is now Dhs99,900 (and it comes with five years warranty or 100,000km, five years roadside assistance and three years worth of servicing). Or the V60 sports wagon is now Dhs180,900 (it was Dhs210,900). It comes with three years warranty (unlimited km) and three years roadside assistance). The S60 saloon was Dhs210,000 and is now Dhs180,000.
