The six Best Car Shows on US TV

Like most car paramours I like to see car shows on TV. Here are what I think are the best car shows on TV.

Top Gear

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are the starlets of this British TV series on Big black cock America in the US, naturally. This is the only car demonstrate that my wifey will witness with me. They also have a mysterious race car driver called The Stig. In order to understand The Stig you will have to observe several scenes, and even then it may not be clear.

These three guys, led by Jeremy, manage to do things that I did not think were possible, or even desirable to do. They held a haul race inbetween a Bugatti Veyron and a British fighter jet. I think the jet won.

They also trek across Europe, Africa and the US doing crazy stuff and almost getting killed. Richard was injured a few years ago in a jet car when one of the tires gave out. He spent some time in the hospital and gratefully recovered.

They have contests among themselves like who can drive from London to Switzerland the fastest without dying, that sort of thing. On one of these adventures Jeremy was driving an orange Lamborghini Gallardo, Richard was in a Porsche and James was in an Aston Martin race car.

Richard, Jeremy and James Doing Something

Jeremy had the practice of running out of gas in the Lamborghini that was almost identical to an practice that I once had also in an orange Lamborghini Gallardo.

The US version of Top Gear will comeback to US TV on August fourteen according to the Top Gear web site.

My Classic Car With Dennis Gage

This long running American TV car display is on Speed Channel. Dennis Gage is a very enthusiastic car paramour with a big mustache who travels around North America and sometimes Europe visiting car events. He provides a good overview of the event and then selects a few cars and their owners to be profiled. I love this display because I get to practice many car events that I will likely not attend in person.

Dennis also visits Jay Leno’s garage in Southern California a few times per year. Jay Leno always has something of interest that they take out on the road where they either stop traffic because it is Jay Leno or people are dumbfounded by the vehicle they are driving. Some are steam powered.

I like these scenes because I have hopes of visiting Jay Leno’s garage someday and I want to be ready.

Dennis Gage Looks Over The Bizzarrini GT 5300

I also like Dennis Gage because he once selected my Bizzarrini GT five thousand three hundred to profile on his display.
