Official pictures of the ArcFox Lite, a fresh electrical mini car for China. ArcFox is a fresh brand under Beijing Auto, focused on making ‘cool’ and somewhat premium electrified cars for the youthful an hip.
The official photos however refer to the vehicle as the ‘Lite’, without any ‘ArcFox’. It has a LITE badge on the bonnet. Chinese media call it the ‘Lite by ArcFox’.

On the early afternoon of May one there was a large fire at a electric-bus charging station at the Crab Island amusement park in Beijing. At least fifty five buses burned out to the ground, another twenty buses partially burned down, and a dozen of charging poles entirely burned to the black. I went to the area last week and found out that all the buses are still there. More movies and many photos below:

Top speed is one hundred twenty kilometers per hour and range is one hundred fifty five kilometers. Charging takes just half an hour for 80% battery on a rapid charger or eight hours for a utter explosion on 220V. It is a little little thing: 2735/1600/1630, and wheelbase is 1810. They are very popular at the moment, I seem them all over the place in Beijing and I wouldn’t be at all astonished if the E200 eventually becomes Zotye;s best-selling car.

It is manufactured by the three-way SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture in which General Motors has a 44% stake. It comes in funky color schemes with a plane grille and head lights with dark visors.
