Sauk County, Wisconsin – On Sunday afternoon (July 28), four people were involved in a buggy crash on State Highway 154. The investigators site that a pony trailer and RV hit an Amish buggy as it was going over a hill.
Four of the buggy’s occupants were hospitalized for their injuries, and the highway was closed for over four hours.

State police are not yet releasing details about an accident involving a car and an Amish pony and buggy Thursday in Paradise Township.
Wellesley, Ontario – A 33-year-old Wellesley, Ont., man is in critical condition after the pony and buggy he was driving collided with a car.
Waterloo police say a 44-year-old Listowel, Ont., woman was driving a Pontiac sedan (on Line 86) in Wellesley when the crash occurred Saturday morning.
Ashland, Ohio – An Amish woman was flown by medical helicopter Tuesday when her pony and buggy was struck by a semitrailer on Ohio 42.
Fannie Hostetler, 70, suffered serious injuries, including head trauma, when she was thrown from the buggy, said Trooper Richard Pollard, of the Ohio Highway Patrol’s Ashland post. She was flown to Cleveland MetroHealth hospital.
Rockville, Indiana – A Rockville teenage was injured Monday when the Amish buggy she was driving was rear-ended by a car on U.S. Thirty six west of Rockville.
The Parke County Sheriff’s Department reports that at Ten:45 a.m., Barbra Stoltzfus was operating the westbound buggy when it was rear-ended by a two thousand one Dodge car driven by Dominic Fields, Nineteen, of Carbon.
Danville, Indiana – Parke County Sheriff`s Deputies, Adams township Rescue and Parke county EMS responded to an accident with an auto and Amish buggy on US thirty six near County Road three hundred East. 19-year old Dominic Fields of Carbon was westbound on US thirty six and rear-ended the buggy driven by 19-year old Barbara Stoltzfus of Rockville. Miss Stoltzfus was thrown from the buggy in the collision and landed in a ditch along the roadway. Parke County EMS transported Miss Stoltzfus to Union Hospital Clinton…her condition is unknown. Fields and his passenger were unhurt. The pony was corralled by a passer-by and appeared uninjured.
Nappanee, Indiana – Police received a call Thursday afternoon of an accident on US six involving a buggy and two trucks.
The call came in around Three:50 pm and police soon arrived on US six inbetween CR nine and CR 11, about three miles east of Nappanee, to find that the crash involved a buggy, a dump truck and a semi.
Gladwin County, Michigan – Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident inbetween a van and two Amish buggies that happened Thursday afternoon.
The preliminary investigates indicates that a van, traveling on North M-18 near Reigle Road in Gladwin County, collided with two separate Amish buggies.
The accident injured three Amish families, sending two to the hospital.
Fresh Auburn, Wisconsin – Fresh details have been reported on a buggy-van crash that occurred Wednesday evening in Chippewa County.
A 2-month-old infant and the infant`s mother were taken by air ambulance to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Six other passengers in the buggy were taken by ground ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System Chippewa Valley in Bloomer. No condition reports on any of the injured is available.
Milford, Indiana – An Amish woman and her three puny children, including a newborn infant, suffered minor injuries after their buggy was hit by a pickup truck in Kosciusko County early Wednesday morning.
The truck hit the buggy from behind while they were heading west on C.R. One thousand three hundred fifty North near C.R. Three hundred West near Milford, according to Sgt. Chad Hill with the Kosciusko County Sheriff`s Department.
Kosciusko County, Indiana – An Amish family walked away with only minor injuries after their buggy was rear-ended by a pick-up truck Wednesday morning.
It happened just after 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of C.R. One thousand three hundred fifty N and C.R. Three hundred W in Kosciusko County.
Middlefield, Ohio – Police proceed to search for the driver of an SUV that hit an Amish buggy near Middlefield, injuring four people.
Police say the driver of what may be a Jeep Cherokee hit the buggy on Tavern Road and then fled the scene.
A man, a woman and two children in the buggy were taken to a hospital after the May twenty eight accident.

The driver of the truck, forty six year old Scott Stroup, of Centerville, crashed into the rear end of the buggy while both vehicles were eastbound on Route seventy seven Thursday morning.

Diggins, Missouri – The Missouri State Highway Patrol said one person is dead and another person injured in a crash involving an Amish buggy Friday.
Fresh Wilmington, Pennsylvania – An Amish woman and her two children were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after a rollover crash in Fresh Wilmington.
According to Fresh Wilmington Police Chief Carmen Piccirillo, Katie Hostetler, 22, of Fresh Wilmington, 3-year-old Lydia Hostetler and 1-year-old Mose Hostetler were transported by Noga Ambulance.
Grabill, Indiana – An Amish buggy was in lumps after it crashed with a truck Thursday afternoon. Around 12:15 the truck rear-ended the buggy on Grabill Road. A deputy at the scene said the driver of the truck was headed east into Grabill and didn`t see the buggy. The person in the buggy went to the hospital with head lacerations. He was listed in stable condition.
Conewngo, Fresh York – Fresh York State Troopers responded to a report of a car and Amish buggy accident that occurred on Seager Hill Road in the Town of Conewango, Cattaraugus County. An Amish buggy was westbound on Seager Hill Road when a vehicle, also westbound, driven by Adam J. Dimpfl, age twenty two of Conewango Valley, NY approached and attempted to pass the buggy striking the pony and continuing on to harm a metal fence, eventually landing in a ditch.
East Earl Township, Pennsylvania – One person was transported to the hospital after a crash involving a motorcycle and pony and buggy Sunday in East Earl Township.
The accident occurred around Four:Ten p.m. in the one thousand block of Gault Road, east of Route 897.
Leon, Fresh York – A motor vehicle struck an Amish buggy Wednesday on Route 62, ruining the buggy and injuring two occupants.
At six p.m., a northbound two thousand six Chevrolet Malibu driven by Theodore Hoca, 59, of Gowanda, attempted to avoid the northbound buggy but struck the buggy`s right wheel and then travelled into a ditch, state police said.
Menno Township, Pennsylvania – According to the Mifflin County Emergency Communications Center, emergency response crews were dispatched at Five:49 p.m. to a crash in Menno Township involving a motor vehicle and a buggy. Responding to the scene were the Huntingdon Ambulance Division, Big Valley EMS, McVeytown EMS, FAME EMS, Belleville Fire Company, Allensville Fire Company and Life Lion. Also assisting at the scene were Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown and the Mifflin County Regional Police Department. No further information was available as of press time Friday night.
Middlebury, Indiana – Two people were injured in a buggy and vehicle collision at the intersection of Ind. Thirteen and C.R. Thirty four in Middlebury Friday. The crash occurred at 1:04 p.m.
According to Elkhart County police, a pony and buggy driven by Michelle Schlabach, 23, Goshen, was westbound on C.R. Thirty four and failed to yield the right of way as she turned in front of a two thousand fifteen Chevrolet Colorado pick-up truck driven by Ina Miller, 39, Goshen.
Carroll County, Missouri – A KMZU listener reported the collision of an Amish Buggy and tractor trailer on Highway sixty five Thursday morning at County Road 200.
There was no indication from reports of when the accident occurred but a listener reported the wreck shortly before six a.m.
Elkhart, Indiana – The driver of a buggy was injured by a vehicle at U.S. 6, west of Ind. Fifteen in Elkhart County Thursday. The crash occurred at 7:03 a.m. according to Elkhart County police. A one thousand nine hundred ninety six Toyota Camry driven by Harley D. Robbins, 23, Bourbon, was eastbound on U.S. Six and struck the rear end of a horse-drawn buggy after falling asleep, police said.
Wheeling, Missouri – A 10-year-old Mennonite boy was killed when his horse-drawn buggy was struck by a sport utility vehicle on a rural highway Thursday morning.
Joshua Leinbach, of Wheeling, was killed in the collision. He was driving the buggy east on State Route B, about seven miles north of Wheeling, around 7:35 a.m. The youthful driver traveled with his family members, 8-year-old Katelyn Leinbach and 7-year-old Amanda Leinbach.
Montcalm Township, Michigan – Montcalm County Sheriff`s Deputies are investigating an accident involving an Amish pony and buggy that veered into the path of an oncoming pickup truck.
It happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning on Fitzner Road inbetween Spencer Road and Pakes Road in Montcalm Township.
Ft. Jackson, Fresh York – State Police had to shoot a pony injured in a pickup truck-Amish buggy accident last Thursday morning.
Troopers said a GMC driven by Matthew Bray, 41, Winthrop, went out of control and hit the pony pulling a buggy operated by Eli Miller, 27, also of Winthrop.
Glasgow, Kentucky – An Amish man received non-life menacing injuries Wednesday morning when the horse-drawn buggy he was driving was struck by a car.
The crash occurred on Ky. One thousand two hundred ninety seven in front of the former Crimson Cross Elementary building.
Unity, Maine – An 83-year-old Newburgh man is facing charges after his truck allegedly hit an Amish horse-drawn cart Saturday evening and he failed to stop.
Robert Veinote was allegedly driving a one thousand nine hundred ninety six GMC pickup truck northbound on Thorndike Road at about six p.m. when the truck struck the left side of a trailer cart being drawn by a forecart, which itself was drawn by a team of two horses, according to Maine State Police Trooper Corey Smith.
Lampeter, Pennsylvania – A child was one of two people injured when a car and a pony and buggy collided in East Lampeter Township on Saturday.
It happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. in the one hundred block of Hartman Bridge Road (Route 896), township police Officer Steve Fazekas said. It is south of Route thirty near Rockvale Outlets.
Old Washington, Ohio – The State Highway Patrol is investigating an accident involving three Amish Buggies that took place on Sunday night alongside I-70.
Troopers say a 17-year-old man was earnestly injured as a result of the crash that took place on Bridgewater Road, near the intersection with Carlisle Road, just west of Middlebourne. According to Sergeant Eric Knowlton of the Cambridge Post, the victim attempted to pass another buggy traveling the same direction at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday and was clipped by a third, on-coming buggy, which ejected the victim from his buggy. The buggy the victim had just passed swerved to miss the man lounging in the middle of the road and hit a phone pole.
Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania – Hempfield Township Police are investigating two separate, incidents from Sunday.
According to police, Jason Gehr, 32, of Fredonia, hit a pony and Amish family in a buggy with his vehicle around 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of Fredonia and Babcock roads in Hempfield Township
Milverton, Ontario (Canada) – Two passengers of an open horse-drawn buggy had minor injuries on Sunday after their vehicle collided with a pickup truck east of Milverton, Perth County OPP said Tuesday.
Police said the buggy and pickup truck were both northbound on Perth Road one hundred twenty four when the buggy turned left at Line sixty four into the path of the pickup.
Sanilac County, Michigan – The Sanilac County Sheriff`s Office said no one was hurt when a car hit an Amish pony buggy on Wednesday.
The crash happened at 1:30 p.m. on Cass City Road and M-53.
Clare County, Michigan – A crash involving an Amish buggy and a motorized vehicle Sunday night left five people in the hospital, and their pony dead.
Medina County, Ohio – The Medina Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a semi truck vs. Amish buggy accident in Homerville, OH. The buggy was traveling eastbound on Greenwich Road, near Pawnee Road around Four:30 p.m., when it was struck by a semi. There were at least two people on buggy and they escaped without injury. However, one pony is dead.
Sparta, Pennsylvania – A pair of Amish teenagers are hospitalized for what police are describing as major injuries after their horse-drawn buggy was struck by an oncoming motorist in a minivan. The boys, who are both 17-years-old, have not been identified by name.
Scott, Wisconsin – Three people were sent to hospitals, one by helicopter, after a collision early Tuesday involving a passenger car and an Amish buggy north of Pardeeville in the town of Scott.
A Columbia County Sheriff`s Office report said the buggy, pulled by one pony, had stopped at a stop sign on Ross Road at Highway 44, just south of the Green Lake County line, at about 7:20 a.m. when a car driven by Cal Bouwkamp, traveling south on Highway 44, struck the buggy.
Narvon, Pennsylvania – Two people were injured when a minivan collided with a pony and buggy in Salisbury Twp. on Sunday.
Initial reports say the buggy pulled out of a driveway in front of the minivan in the area of five thousand nine hundred twenty nine Meadeville Road just before one p.m.
Brecknock Township, Pennsylvania – The driver of a buggy was taken to the hospital following a crash in Lancaster County on Friday morning.
The accident happened in the one thousand block of Dry Tavern Road in Brecknock Township.
Fairbank, Iowa – Authorities say a car has collided with a horse-drawn buggy in northeast Iowa.
The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office says a 17-year-old driver was traveling near Fairbank on Wednesday when she struck the rear of the buggy. Both the car and the buggy went into a ditch.
