Sales of the CAM Indycar Practice tickets have been extended to Monday, Septemebr 11th, don’t finish 2nd! Get your Tickets here: calautomuseum.org/indycar The entire IndyCar Championship will be determined at Sonoma Raceway September 17th and you can be there! Three championship points presently separate 1st and 2nd place, with six other drivers in the hunt for the Astor Cup, eight drivers still have a legitimate chance for snagging the crown.

Every car has stories, even one you just bought last year. But cars that’ve been around for decades, even centuries…imagine how many stories they could tell. And…how many of them are unsettling, unnerving, or downright creepy or gory? Come find out! Join us on Halloween night (Tuesday, October 31st) for our very first ever “Haunted Headlights Tour”. Guests will be led through our exhibits, where they will encounter strange, creepy, and gory stories from automotive past. Our exhibits will come to spook-tacular life like never before; you won’t want to miss it! The very first tour will begin at 6:30 pm, and tours will depart the lobby every fifteen minutes until 7:30. Prices for the Haunted Headlights Tour are as goes after. (Tickets include the tour, a complimentary beverage (which can be a SPIRITed beverage, for our guests over 21) in our Lounge (after the tour finishes), and snacks. $Legal for Gearhead members thirteen and over $20 for general public thirteen and over (Kids under thirteen not advised at this spooky event!) Catches sight of in these tours are limited; get your tickets soon!
September is going to be a hectic month here at the Museum! aaahhh!!😜 Here are the updates! Labor Day Weekend is going to be a hot one so we are going to be closing at 3pm this Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday! We will begin construction on the 2nd barrel of the roof! This will cause the museum to be open by appointment only on sept. 5th-8th & sept. 12th-15th. Also down leave behind that we will be hosting a “Classic Car Appreciation Weekend” in the middle of our appointment only weeks, where admission will be “PAY WHAT YOU WANT Our inaugural “Campus Car Showcase” will be on September 16th on UTI’s campus, sign up your car now! Eventually the all “Access IndyCar Practice” is on September 17th but you have to get your tickets by this Friday!
